With No Date Set, Musk and Zuckerberg Trade Barbs on ‘Cage Match’
Elon Musk says he will livestream the event on his own platform. Mark Zuckerberg says he is ready today and calls for a more reliable platform.

Since months, Silicon Valley's chatter has been centered around whether Mark Zuckerberg or Elon Musk will actually participate in the "cage match," as they promised. After a flurry activity and promises on both sides, the mega-moguls' face-off seemed to have fizzled.
Musk is the likely culprit.
On Sunday, Mr. Zuckerberg (chief executive of Meta) said that he had suggested to the two men, on his new social media application Threads, that they participate in a mixed martial arts match at the end of August. He added that Mr. Musk, who owns X (formerly Twitter), had not yet confirmed the date.
