After 35 years, the cast of a popular sitcom has reunited for a college tour at historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). The tour aims to promote enrollment and raise scholarship funding for students. The sitcom, a spin-off of another show, followed a character named Denise Huxtable as she attended a fictional HBCU called Hillman College. The tour kicked off at the Atlanta University Center and will visit various HBCUs. The cast members hope to honor the show’s legacy and introduce a new generation to the benefits of attending HBCUs. The tour has already raised $50,000 in scholarship funding and aims to reach $1 million by the end.
