In New Zealand, an Instagram post by a political party showed a realistic rendering of fake robbers raging through a jewellery shop.
The runner-up of the Chicago mayoral election in April claimed that an account on Twitter posing as a media outlet had used A.I. The cloning of his voice was done in such a way as to suggest that he supported police brutality.
